The Kids Are All Right (2010)
Much more than I expected, this is a little story told extremely well. Great script, great acting all round and a good soundtrack. When you hear the story you could imagine this to be a really annoying indie film, but with the script that never goes overboard with its characters and does not add really quirky bullshit with it, it really stands alone by itself, not an amazing film but its not...

Peeping Tom (1960)
This is terrific, a cult film that I have never seen. Im surprised this is not more well know like Psycho mixed with Rear Window, but it really does have its own quality all on its own. The set design is terrific and is a great look into the film industry in the 60’s. 09.11.10

Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind (2004)
For some reason really wanted to watch this again. Have not seen this for a few years. Watching it now it reminded me of what a great director Gondry is and how amazing Charlie Kaufman scripts can be. No wonder this was in most of the top films of the 00’s. Everything about this film is almost flawless and perfectly reflects the decade. 01.11.10

Shivers (1975)
A sexually transmitted venereal disease that zombifies its host into a sexual predator… what more could you ask for, oh wait its in Canada! and directed by Cronenberg. Excellent entertainment, you can’t go wrong with this. 31.10.10

Thirst (2009)
It was halloween so this is the first of the horror films I watched. Enjoyed this one, really beautifully shot with a interesting take on a vampire story but do feel it could have been half an hour shorter just felt it lost its momento and strained from it. 31.10.10

Machete (2010)
Big cast in this one, and has some funny bits in it but overall this could have been much better. 31.10.10

Winters Bone (2010)
Really impressed with this one. Really powerful and inspiring tale with terrific acting all round. A pretty grim tale but with loads of heart. 31.10.10

Time Of The Wolf - Le Temps Du Loup (2003)
Michael Haneke is a director I have only discovered 2 years ago and I am going through all of his work. I find with every one of his films I watch he brings something amazing to the screen, this is no exception. A post apocalyptic drama in an unnamed country this is a bleak look into the actions of people when they have nothing and the actions they take just to survive. I also love the fact that...

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (1987)
This was alright, nothing as powerful as the first Wall Street. Michael Douglas is still great and holds the whole movie together.  25.10.10

Get Him To The Greek (2010)
Not that I expected this to be really funny, but had loads of potential to be really funny but it wasn’t.  24.10.10
